CRUDE HELIUM PRODUCTION
From Wellhead to Trailer
LOCATION: USA
MARKET: Crude Helium Production
THE CHALLENGE
Our client was developing a Helium basin and needed to process the raw gas production at a central facility to concentrations of 95% or better to meet tolling contracts. The project required design of the facility for the current raw gas production of 2 MMSCFD and provide scalability for increased processing throughout of 4 MMSCFD. The client required expandable trailer filling capacity as the field developed to meet product takeaway. The project timeline incorporated of a phased build approach to meet current processing needs and future expansion plans.

THE SOLUTION
- Raw inlet gas treatment design to remove water and meet dew point for separation
- Membrane package specification, evaluation and procurement
- Future membrane series deployment for enhanced throughput at lowest cost solution
- Leverage site utility power to handle current and future needs
- Design of staged compression system for increased loading capacity
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Process and mechanical design
- Electrical and automation design
- Site layout and key plans
- Major equipment procurement
- Onsite package evaluation
- Construction planning
